There are ways of caring for yourself and eliminating the risk of colitis or worsening the effects of it. For example, changing your diet and the way you care for your digestive system. When you care for your digestive system other aspects of your health improve.

Many Americans suffer from constipation and see it as an everyday thing. Their busy lifestyles lead to poor dietary choices, and not enough exercise. Not aware that constipation relief is out there through natural products such as fiber and drinking enough water, to name a few. They live with their constipation relying and sometimes overdoing the use of laxatives.

Once Colitis is present there are foods that should be avoided such as dairy products, foods high in fiber such as raw fruits and vegetables specially those that cause gas; beans, cabbage, broccoli and onions. Foods high in fat, spicy foods, caffeine, chocolate, alcohol and carbonated drinks can all cause Colitis to worsen.

Colitis although treatable is a very serious and painful disease. It should be diagnosed and treated as soon as possible. But above all it should be avoided by all means. Taking care of your digestive system daily will assist you in that.

While hydrating in itself may be enough of a constipation cure for your body, if it isn’t, you may need to do something more.

One very effective method of constipation relief is colon cleansing. In this process your colon is literally cleansed out so it can start fresh. If you have been suffering with constipation for a long time, this may be the constipation remedy that is most effective to get things back on track.

Fiber Supplement. Another thing you can do to keep your body regular is not only hydrate but make sure you are getting enough fiber to help move waste through your digestive tract. If you don’t have enough fiber in your diet to do this on it’s own, you may want to consider adding a fiber supplement to your daily intake.

We began using the various types of fiber supplements on the market, as well as increasing the prune juice and keifer to 32 ounces per day. She then began experiencing large, painful bowel movements, even with the use of suppositories. Finally there was some degree of relief; however, when she returned to her home out of state, she again experienced diffulty moving her bowels. Days and even up to a week would go by with no results. She had even scheduled an appointment with a gastroenterologist for possible surgery to remove any impaction.

In the meantime, I was looking for answers on line, and by the Grace of God found the PoopDoc. I immediately asked for three bottles to be sent to her address. Thank the Lord she cancelled her appointment and took the capsules as directed. She experienced results the very next day. In fact, she was awakened earlier than her normal waking time by the urge to move her bowels. She later told me that she “kept going and going and going all day.” Imagine how much of a cesspool there was in that poor girl’s body.

No Longer Suffer Chronic Constipation

Author: dnovosat | Filed under: Health

The two principle anatomic causes of chronic constipation are growths and a narrowing of the colon. Both causes can be treated but a physician must first be certain as to the true cause before prescribing the correct remedy for constipation relief. To accomplish this, physicians have several tools at their disposal.

The simplest way to determine whether or not an anatomical cause is at the root of chronic constipation is to perform a digital examination of the anorectal area. Basically, this will help determine if a growth or narrowing of the colon is the source of the problem. However, should the digital examination fail to reveal a culprit for the condition, the intestines will need to be looked into.

Relief For Chronic Constipation

Author: prodoctor | Filed under: Health, Medicine

This degree of constipation can plague a person for many years and not be recognized as a problem, or a cause of other problems. First, such a person generally has no real frame of reference to know if his or her bowel movements are “normal” in this respect. Let’s face it! This is not a common topic of conversation around the water cooler at work. Most people wouldn’t think to link abnormal elimination with any health problems unless one or both occurred in the extreme. Even “normal elimination”, if one defines “normal” as what is “average” in our society, may not be the optimal for ideal health.

Constipation is not an all-or-nothing condition. It does come in degrees, and it’s not surprising that most people experience at least a degree of constipation and don’t even realize it, considering that few people get more than a third of the dietary fiber that even our nutritionally conservative government dietary guidelines recommend.

Most People Experience At Least a Degree of Constipation

From drinking warm honey and milk before bedtime to eating Guava fruit-seeds and all-there are a seemingly endless supply of “all-natural” constipation cures. Psyllium husk is also said to be a great natural constipation relief, and it is the active ingredient in many laxatives. Even apple pectin will naturally help give relief for constipation without causing any of the side effects that a laxative might.

But as you may imagine, one of the biggest reasons why people tend to shy away from natural remedies for constipation relief is because they are more complicated and difficult to administer than simply swallowing a laxative and forgetting about it.  After all, where would you find a Guava fruit anyway?  Do you find psyllium husk at some sort of “pick your own husks” kind of farm?  Is apple pectin next to the Granny Smith’s or the Red Delicious apples?
