Times have changed some. Gone are the days of the family gathering across the table, playing some easy card games, or use chess sets, and connecting over a shared competition and knowledge with every other. Instead today everyone has our own computers, own televisions, personal wireless the web devices, own rooms, personal reading lamps, own couches, own DVD players and DVRs, personal shows, own interests, and for lots of families, own dinners.

War may be the first that comes to thoughts when a person hear easy greeting card games. It’s a two player game, and it’s really simple. Just take a normal 52 card deck, shuffle it completely, and count out 26 cards for every player. Maintain the cards face down on the table. Every player then turns a greeting card, and whoever has the greater card wins and collects both. This continues until the players turn a card of the same value. At this point, those two cards are usually put within the pot in the middle, together with 3 other cards from each deck. Lastly, every player then turns a card and whoever has the highest wins all ten cards.
