Effective Kettlebell Workouts Need Not Be “Hard Core”

The best kettlebell workouts for women, like all good ab workouts for women, can certainly be tough – as tough as the trainer and instructor may like to make them, but they need not be “hard core” in the sense that the term is often used, that is implying extreme bodybuilding aimed at developing a level of visible muscularity which is completely unnatural for the female body and, in the eyes of many, very unattractive. Most women who are keen to get in shape will not shrink from vigorous and challenging workout, but they are interested in getting a lean body rather than a muscular one. Fortunately this is where kettlebells come into their own, as they have been proved time and againt be the ideal devices for providing variable resistance in a good number of enjoyable whole body movements which both build strong but shapely muscle and burn fat.
