We Brits are renowned for our continued fascination with the weather and are renowned for our moaning about the Great British Summer (or lack of it) Well moan no more! 2011 is set to be a record breaking heat wave with temperatures in May expected to reach the hottest on record since recordings of temperature started 353 years ago. From this weekend according to the Daily Mail http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1387492/UK-weather-2-week-heatwave-forecasters-predict-hottest-May-350-years.htmlwe may be hitting regular 29oC days from Saturdays onwards for at least the next two weeks according to forecasters.
This will mean ice creams, shirts off, splashing around in the water, buckets and spades just in time for the kid’s half term break and May bank holiday. Pure Eau understands the importance of ensuring we all drink enough water during the warm period. It is recommended that we drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water every day to stay hydrated for optimum health. Pure Eau provides all the water you can drink through our water coolers and water filters which has been put through the reverse osmosis process to provide you with nothing but pure water.
However, warm weather comes with a price. An emergency drought summit takes place today instigated by the Environment Secretary Caroline Spelman. It will consider the drought implications on agriculture and the environment and what we can do to preserve water. Ms Spelman will meet with members of the water industry body Water UK, the National Farmers’ Union, the Environment Agency and Natural England. Many rivers are already running low or dry, and farmers are warning of crop failure. Jonathan Powell, the forecaster for Positive Weather Solutions stated that the year may well continue to turn up more surprises as May is outperforming expectations, as did March and April. Rain is predicted for some of May in the North and West, but not nearly enough to stave off drought concerns. The pressure may build again during late May and through to the second week of June, with warm temperatures and possible humidity leading to thunderstorms. http://www.positiveweathersolutions.co.uk/
Pure Eau hopes everyone will be hydrating themselves this spring and summer. Our water coolers and water filters provides you with all the water you need to ensure your body remains in optimum health.
