XM Radio, Is It Worth the Price?

Author: FrankWhite | Filed under: Electronics, Music

The Philco Cathedral Radio was one of the all time greats when it came to antique radios. The name came from the fact that it looked like a Cathedral. It was quite a piece of art and one of the best made radios ever.

About the only time you will run across one of these is when an elderly person has an estate sale. If you can find one, grab it. Even if you have to fix it up, it will be something you can pass down to your grand-children. They will marvel at the early beginning of radio. I’ll also be that none of their friends will have a Philco 60 or any other radios that are this old.

These radios are gone very quickly when the collectors find them. They know what a treasure they are. The only other place that you might run across one of these is on EBAY. But you will have to be on your toes to get one there and you probably will have lots of auction competition. Good Luck in finding one.
