Finding a good marketing list broker is not always easy. The good brokers don’t have halos and the bad ones don’t have horns, so you are not going to get off that easy when you are trying to find a broker you can trust with your business’s future. If you are like many business owners I talk to, you feel frustrated that there are so many mailing list brokers out there, all claiming to be the one broker that can make a difference in your company. It all turns to white noise after a while, so how do you find a good broker out of all that? The interview process is important, and there are a few questions you can ask that will make all the difference. First, you can “interview” your potential direct response marketing list broker by searching them online. Looking around at their reviews will tell you a lot about the company, and if they can be trusted with your co-registration marketing list. This gives you a good start, but the interview will tell you more. IN person, you are going to be able to tell a lot more about how they are going to treat you. If they are trying to shoe horn you into a marketing list, you are probably talking to the wrong broker. If they listen to you, and seek to know more about what you hope to accomplish, then you have a good marketing broker on your hands.
